SAFETY EVO4 PACK : with EASYSKI, enjoy your Free-ride course in complete safety. When booking online, you will be offered to rent the avalanche transceiver (avalanche victim detector) of the ARVA brand. You are now equipped like a pro (batteries supplied). During the cours the instructor will do an introduction to the use of this materiel. You also have the possibility to come and rent it , at the MGM Sports store, only for this initiation day.

Course for children
and teenagers

The group freeride skiing lessons are aimed at children and teens from 12 y. old minimum to 18 y. old maximum. When booking group lessons, click on 'More Information' to verify that the selected course level matches your skill level.

Attention : do not book a course if the candidate's aptitude does not correspond to the level selected.
Attention : do not try to book in a level not suited to the candidate, under the pretext of having a place, you will not be refunded or replaced.
Attention : the candidate must be IMPERATIVELY present from the first day of the start of the course. (see the GCS)

To join the group you must be able to ski on all slopes, though you don’t need to be a ski champion.

EASYSKI chalet at the "Rond-point des pistes" area, next to the ticket sales offices and at the start of the "Signal" slope : Locate on Google maps.

How the ski freeride
group lessons work

During the course During this courses, young skiers will have the opportunity to explore the entire ski domain of Alpe d'Huez, gradually venturing into off-piste terrain and discovering diverse slopes.

Giant slalom During the French school holidays, you will take part in a giant slalom the "trophée de LA MARMOTTE d'or et de LA MÈRE MICHEL" (depending on weather and snow conditions).

ski lift pass You should have your ski lift pass with you at all times.

Medal Ceremony The events are held on Fridays during lesson times. The medals are awarded during the last group lesson of the week (payment in addition to the internship : €6).

How to know if I'm enrolling my child in the right course?

When you book group lessons online, a complete detail is offered to you to verify that the level of course selected corresponds to your level of aptitude.

Where is the meeting point for the lessons?

Please go to our “rond point des pistes” chalet, upper part of the resort and main departure point, 15 minutes before the lesson is due to start with your booking confirmation. "Bergers and Eclose" area resident : To join our "rond point des pistes" chalet, take the "Rif nel express" cable car (5 minutes trip). Shuttles are also available every 15 minutes (5 minutes trip) and drop you in front of our chalet. Important ! It’s your responsibility to join your group on time and we do not guaranty that you could find the group.
